In the decaying shell of the once-thriving Dixie-Five Mall, a broken man named Floyd Buelleur serves as its last guardian—a washed-up former mall manager who refuses to let go of a past long buried. As Floyd spirals through alcoholism and regret, he begins to witness strange movements within the abandoned halls. What begins as a possible hallucination quickly escalates into something far more terrifying and deeply rooted.
Parallel to Floyd’s descent, the film unearths a chilling Cold War-era military conspiracy known as Project Aeternum—a top-secret U.S. experiment in cellular immortality conducted in underground labs beneath the mall during World War II. These experiments, involving synthetic blood transfusions and genetic enhancements, were designed to produce immortal soldiers. When the war ended, the government buried the project—literally—under tons of concrete and secrecy.
As the past bleeds into the present, Floyd is drawn deeper into the mall’s dark corridors, confronting shadows of men who never died and echoes of decisions that reshaped human biology.
